In medicine, a tonic is a solution used to cure illness and improve health and wellbeing. Toniq Collective is the solution to fast fashion. We are a collective that brings together designers and consumers, creating a collaborative and connected supply chain.

Our why

We love fashion, but we don't love the impact on our planet. People are exploited and abused daily all for the sake of the latest trending crop top.

One in six young women won't wear the same outfit if it's been seen on social media (who's guilty?). This throw away nature drives the over consumption of fast fashion, unethical production, excessive waste and pollution of our one and only planet!

Just how all great trends come to and end, we think fast fashion should too. The way clothes are designed and produced needs to change and thankfully some amazing designers are already leading the way. The 'make-take-waste' way we consume fashion also needs to change. It’s time to open our minds, embrace the circular economy and a new way of shopping.

Our vision

Toniq Collective connects innovative designers to fashion forward women through a closed loop model. We thoughtfully select clothing from conscious brands who produce in line with our values: People; Planet; Animal Welfare; Community; Empowerment; and Low waste.

We are all used to the sharing economy (was there ever a time before Netflix and Uber?!) borrowing clothes is the next logical step. Toniq Collective offers a simple solution to fast fashion, a revolving wardrobe out of home. Exclusive access to luxury garments on rotation for a lot less hassle and a lot more impact! Our vision is to provide customers an exciting experience fulfilling that desire for something new and allowing them to be adventurous with their style without the risk, the over flowing wardrobe or the textile waste.

Collaboration over competition is the only way forward. We work with established brands and also aim to support emerging designers in reaching their sustainability goals. Sharing resources and networks enables designers with great potential to grow and flourish. We love showcasing beautiful brands doing good, ethical fashion is so much more than a hemp sack dress!

Toniq Collective is not just another rental company, we are a community of innovators challenging traditional methods and materials, pushing the boundaries of technology and working together towards the fashion revolution.

Our founders

Amanda and Olivia came from very different backgrounds yet share a similar passion and determination to make ground breaking changes within the fashion industry.

After learning the devastating truths of the industry whilst studying fashion, Olivia set out to challenge traditional design and business models whilst exploring circularity. Before starting Toniq Collective she developed a design for disassembly model to demonstrate how innovative pattern making techniques and construction methods could facilitate garment recycling.

Amanda qualified as a barrister and solicitor after studying law, politics and international relations. She has had a successful career in government procurement, however her heart has always been drawn to fashion. A self-described ‘recovering shopaholic’, Amanda developed a strong passion for sustainability and ethical fashion whilst living in London where the effects of fast fashion became more apparent.

They have shared values and an exciting vision of a collaborative, closed loop company celebrating the true quality and beauty of conscious fashion.
